If you’ve heard me talk about balance, then you’ll know trying to find ways to optimize my day is always on my mind. I discovered this idea called “The Rule of Three” months back and have been applying it since. The “rule” is simple. Each day you set the outcomes you want to achieve to just 3 things. No more. No less. Keep it simple. Then each week you set your 3 outcomes that will be supported by your daily goals. Lastly, each year you set 3 goals that will be supported by all those weekly goals.
Try it out, let me know how it works for you. For me, it has helped me feel accomplished at the end of the day, knowing not only was I able to get sh*t done but also keep things in perspective.
